About Dr. Goos Suprema

For over 50 years, Dr. Goos Suprema GmbH has been manufacturing X-ray protective clothing and X-ray aprons in Heidelberg. The products, including X-ray protective vests such as the Triplex model, are handcrafted in accordance with the European standards DIN EN 61331-1 and DIN EN 61331-3 and produced exclusively to order. The protective materials used are SupraNorm (standard lead rubber), SupraLight Plus (lightweight lead rubber with around 15% weight reduction) and SupraSine (lead-free material) based on natural rubber, free of latex and PVC; every metre of protective material is tested. Each apron comes with an integrated RFID chip ex works, which is managed digitally via the iPron system with cloud integration and can be used for regular test cycles. The company also offers made-to-measure production, personalisation such as logo printing, a repair service at the Heidelberg production facility, as well as on-site consultation and measurement by the field sales team. Customers are predominantly hospitals and radiology facilities; delivery is worldwide.
