Dr. Günther Inspections GbR is a family-run company from Meerane in Saxony and a technology partner to the global manufacturing and container glass industry. The company develops and manufactures camera inspection machines for container glass, tableware glass and kitchen glass, enabling 100% contactless quality control. In addition to standard solutions, DGI offers special machines tailored to customer requirements, including a custom inspection machine that inspects containers from 70 mm to 500 mm in height on a single line and has been in operation at a major German glass manufacturer for one year. A recent development is the AI-based Intelligent Print Inspection System for 360° inspection of printed and spray-coated containers, which can be used inline or offline. The portfolio is complemented by a Glass Thickness Sensor as well as in-house software development. Research and manufacturing take place under one roof at the Meerane site.
