Dr. Nahr Kunststoff KG is a family-run plastics business founded in the early 1950s. The company manufactures covers and pouches made of flexible PVC for products that pass through many hands or are exposed to the elements. High-quality, versatile film material is used, making the products resistant, tear-proof and durable. The company became best known for the Plan pouches (Planschutztaschen) developed from 1972 onwards, which protect technical drawings and construction plans from wind, rain, frost and sun. Since then, the production focus has been on products for the construction industry. Thanks to its own production facility, the company manufactures custom-made products in flexible sizes and formats, both at high and low volumes; customers at home and abroad include companies such as Siemens, Metz and Pausch.
