About Dr. Ryll Lab

Dr. Ryll Lab GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2017 and is a manufacturer-independent service provider for gas analysis, sampling, calibration and maintenance of analytical measurement technology. In the accredited laboratory in Berlin, gas accompanying substances in hydrogen, natural and biogas, synthetic gases (SNG) and LNG are determined; hydrogen quality analysis is carried out in accordance with ISO 14687, SAE J2719 and DIN EN 17124. As a state-recognized testing body for gas measuring instruments, the company performs verification and calibration of gas quality and calorific value measuring instruments on site and certifies test and calibration gas mixtures. With a mobile testing laboratory, Dr. Ryll Lab measures hydrogen quality directly on site in real time; a mobile process gas chromatograph with Ex-Zone-1 approval is available for rent throughout Europe. The range of services is complemented by engineering and consulting for the design, planning and construction of gas quality monitoring systems as well as material compatibility tests using in-house developed test chambers. Through the 100% subsidiary H2Plas GmbH founded in 2021, production plants for hydrogen, carbon, synthesis gas and acetylene based on microwave plasma technology are being developed. Customers come from the gas and energy sector, from grid operators and municipal utilities, and from the hydrogen economy.
