Dr. Schleuniger Pharmatron AG develops, manufactures and distributes tablet testing instruments for production and quality control in the pharmaceutical industry. The focus is on complete tablet hardness test systems; in addition, the portfolio includes precision measurement of weight, thickness, width, diameter and breaking force (hardness/break force) of tablets as well as a PAT system for automated content uniformity testing with NIR for Real-Time Release (RTR). The range of physical testing instruments also comprises disintegration, friability (abrasion), bulk density, powder flow and cap torque test systems. Following the integration of the product line and services by the SOTAX Group in 2013, dissolution test systems (USP 1/2/5/6 manual, semi- and fully automatic as well as USP 4 flow-through), automated sample preparation (JetX™) and data management with q-doc® software are additionally offered. The Pharma Services team supports pharmaceutical companies worldwide with feasibility studies, method development, method automation, validation and method transfer.
