Dr. Shufani GmbH & Co.KG is a mid-sized, owner-managed special-purpose machine builder based in Werneuchen-OT Seefeld (Brandenburg), specialising in machines and systems for the adhesive tape industry. The portfolio includes tape converting machines such as modular rotary die cutters, cut-off machines, over-wrappers and rewinding cutters, core cutters, automatic length-cutting machines, as well as manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic adhesive tape application systems. This is complemented by automation technology, software and robotics solutions, measuring tables and non-contact optical measuring systems for quality control, as well as punching presses, rotary indexing tables and masking machines. The systems are always built in a modular and expandable way and process adhesive tapes, self-adhesive foams, paper and roll materials for the printing and packaging, point of sale, plastics and signage industries. The company acts as the interface between adhesive tape manufacturers, converters and end customers (OEMs, T1 to T3) and also offers prototype development, conversion/extension of systems as well as contract manufacturing in CNC metalworking and 3D printing. Since October 2023, Shufani has been the exclusive sales partner for Enimac in the DACH region; they also represent RoboTape in the DACH region and Eastern Europe.

Quality
For quality control, Shufani uses non-contact optical measuring systems (measuring tables) with line cameras from Keyence, e.g. for measuring punched parts in the standard measuring range of 1000 x 400 mm. The metrology operates with electrically driven linear axes with an inductive measuring system for high precision.
