About the Expert
Dr. Thomas Herrmann is a publicly appointed and sworn expert for powder coating technologies, in particular for the corrosion protection of metals, appointed by the Chamber of Engineers of Saxony. His services include the preparation of court and party expert opinions, the investigation of corrosion and coating damage, and the evaluation of wet and powder paint systems. In addition, on-site consulting, in-house training and further education in quality management are offered. For damage investigation as well as research and development work, an own laboratory in Dresden (Dr. Herrmann GmbH & Co KG) is available, which performs laboratory tests according to DIN, EN, ISO and ASTM. The test spectrum ranges from powder processing tests and material and pretreatment analyses to paint film examinations and corrosion protection tests. In addition to the expert office in Dresden, the Nord expert office in Rostock serves customers in northern Germany. Customers come from powder coating, surface technology and corrosion protection of metals.
