About dr. wernecke Feuchtemesstechnik
dr. wernecke Feuchtemesstechnik GmbH in Potsdam specializes in moisture measurement technology: the company manufactures series instruments such as trace moisture analyzers, aw-value thermostats, and laboratory and mixed gas generators, and adapts moisture measurement technology to specific customer applications. On request, the company also develops new sensor technology, sets up complete measurement laboratories, and operates a DAkkS (DKD) accredited calibration laboratory for the measurands humidity, temperature and water activity. Calibrations are carried out with DAkkS or ISO certificates in the laboratory or as on-site calibration at the customer's premises. Applications range from determining material and process moisture in pharmaceuticals, food, plastics, paper and bulk goods to automotive and laboratory tasks, up to the installation of an atmosphere simulation system at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. The site is located at Gerlachstraße 35, 14480 Potsdam.

Instruments, systems and processes
Water activity / aw value
aw values of products and foods are determined in a thermostatted measurement station in the range from -35 to 120 °C.
Trace moisture
Stationary, mobile and specialized analyzers determine trace moisture in processes, technical and medical gases (0.02 to 2000 ppm within the ISO calibration scope).
Air humidity / relative humidity
Capacitive humidity sensors are individually adapted to processes; DAkkS calibration range (10...95) %RH.
Dry gas < -50 °C dew point
The mixed gas generator DWF-ENG-25 produces compressed air with an oil-free compressor and permeation dryer to below -50 °C dew point.
Material moisture / equilibrium moisture
Using sorption isotherms as material-specific characteristic curves, product or material moisture is defined from the equilibrium moisture.
