Drachen-Propangas GmbH (DrachenGas) is a German liquefied gas company founded in 1955 and headquartered in Wetzlar. The company supplies private customers, commercial enterprises, industry, agriculture, gastronomy and the transport sector with liquefied gas in cylinders (5, 8, 11 and 33 kg as well as special cylinders) and in tanks (tank supply) up to full-supply installations. Further business areas are motor gas/forklift gas, company filling stations, the fuel service DrachenGas click & drive, heating gas with a biogenic share and cylinder gas vending machines for round-the-clock supply. In addition, DrachenGas offers professional planning and installation of cylinder gas systems, CHP consulting and installation in partnership with EC Power, energy system consulting including economic efficiency calculations, a safety service for liquefied gas systems, TRG and fire brigade training as well as a funding service for BAFA and KfW subsidies. The company operates its own storage facilities and filling plants, its own rail tank cars and its own cylinder gas fleet; supply is provided with certified liquefied gas according to DIN 51622. Throughout Germany, DrachenGas works with more than 2,000 distribution partners.
