About DREES
DREES GmbH, based in Sundern in the Sauerland region, develops and manufactures LED luminaires, PCB assemblies and custom lighting solutions. The family business, founded in 1957 and now run by the third generation, covers the entire value chain: lighting consultation and lighting design, design and development, SMD/THT PCB assembly in its own electronics production, metalworking, final assembly, and testing in its own electrical, EMC and lighting laboratories. With around 45 employees and a range of more than 7,500 luminaires, assemblies and components, DREES serves industries from retail and hospitality to industry and commerce and public buildings. Reference projects include Oslo Airport, Mercaden Dorsten, the Borusseum Dortmund and the Iglootel. Production takes place at the headquarters in Sundern as well as at partner facilities in Europe and Asia; the systems business includes, among other things, the LIGHTS² retrofit kits and the standardized linear system LFS CONTACT.
