About Drehtechnik Jakusch

Drehtechnik Jakusch GmbH is a family-owned supplier of CNC turned and milled parts based in Saalfeld, Thuringia. Founded in 1994 by Manfred Jakusch, the company produces individual mechanical parts and complete assemblies in medium volume ranges – from bar machining with 5 to 80 mm diameter, through chuck machining up to 200 mm, to complete machining on multitasking machines. The machine park comprises 13 Mazak CNC lathes with sub-spindle as well as three Mazak Integrex multitasking machines; the range is complemented by vibratory finishing, glass bead blasting, thread rolling, part washing, 3D printing of prototypes (Keyence AGILISTA 3200) and assembly services such as bonding and joining. Materials machined include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, nickel, titanium, plastics as well as cast and forged blanks. Heat treatment and surface finishing are carried out by qualified cooperation partners. Production has been digitalized since 2016; the company's own work platform NOAH connects all production-relevant work areas. Customers come predominantly from mechanical engineering and industrial supply.
