Drehtechnik LAKIS GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 2014, headquartered in Plettenberg, specializing in the manufacturing of turned parts. Its range of services includes the production of turned parts on modern CNC machines, complete machining with operations such as deburring, drilling, milling and thread cutting, as well as the finishing of turned parts through chrome plating, nickel plating, tin plating, galvanizing and painting. Production is carried out according to drawings, samples or DIN specifications – from single pieces to small and large series. The portfolio ranges from chuck-turned parts up to 200 mm in diameter and long-turned parts up to 52 mm to CNC automatic turned parts with diameters of 10 to 65 mm and lengths up to 800 mm. Materials used include a wide variety of steels, free-cutting steel, carbon steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. Customers include suppliers to automotive manufacturers, companies from the electrical engineering sector and manufacturers of agricultural machinery; a national as well as international customer base is served. On 750 m² of production space, the company manufactures with a team available around the clock and at the shortest lead times.
