Roll forming expert from the Black Forest
DREISTERN GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures at its headquarters in Schopfheim in the Black Forest customized roll forming machines (roll forming lines), roll forming tools, pre- and post-punching systems, cutting machines as well as control and software solutions. Founded in 1949 and today run by the third generation, the family-owned company sees itself as a solution and full-line provider for the roll forming process and has built more than 2,000 lines worldwide; more than 10,000 profiles have been realized on its machines. The technology portfolio covers roll forming, strip leveling, welding, punching and cutting, complemented by digitalization approaches under the term Roll Forming 4.0. Almost all formable materials are processed, including high- and ultra-high-strength steels, aluminum alloys, copper, titanium, brass, stainless steel and plastic composites, with strip widths up to 1,200 mm and material thicknesses of 0.1 to 5.0 mm. Customer segments are Automotive & Transport, construction industry, electrical industry, warehousing & logistics, furniture industry, roll forming mills and tube industry. With around 185 employees, more than 50 engineers, over 40 patents, its own test center with ten trial machines and the subsidiary DREISTERN Inc. in Telford, USA, the company serves customers worldwide.
