About Drifter Spirits

Drifter Spirits describes itself as the first spirits joint (ad-)venture in the GSA market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The company was founded by Pete and Nate, who since 2012—after a meeting with Sasha Petraske in New York—have been distributing niche spirits such as Avuá Cachaça. The worldwide team comprises nine employees. Services include the import and distribution of spirits, education and training for the bar community, as well as brand building and development. In addition to Avuá Cachaça, the portfolio has also included Svöl Aquavit as a second brand since Drifter was founded. The products are distributed in the USA and Western Europe; the focus is on bartender-focused niche products discovered or developed while traveling. Locations are Berlin (Yorckstraße 13) as the representative office for the GSA market and Brooklyn, NY (248 Sullivan Place) as an office.
