About DriveCon
DriveCon GmbH is an engineering office for electrical systems based in the Mainfrankenpark in Dettelbach near Würzburg. Founded in 2001, the company provides electrical planning in accordance with HOAI, electrical engineering design, switchgear planning including delivery of control cabinets, electrical installation, and PLC programming, visualization and commissioning. A specialty is the planning and software programming for large-scale projects in hydraulic steel structures, such as locks, weir systems, ship lifts and movable bridges. A second core business is automation solutions for special-purpose machinery as well as for warehouse, conveying and logistics systems, including material flow systems with SAP integration. With its own process control software MINGLECONTROL and individual apps and operator interfaces, the company also offers process control systems and industrial apps. The services are complemented by the subsidiary ibz|Gebäudeplanung (Ingenieurbüro Zink), which has belonged to DriveCon GmbH since 2025 and is responsible for the electrical planning of technical building services for public, social and commercial buildings. The company employs more than 40 staff and works for public clients, industrial companies and operators of complex technical systems in Germany and abroad.
