About DVI
Drone Visual Inspection (DVI), based in Bron near Lyon, offers automated, drone-based photographic inspections of aircraft surfaces as a turnkey service. The service spectrum covers the complete inspection, from automated drone scan through technical analysis of the images by in-house experts to a documented report with traceability. Alternatively, DVI provides drones on site at the customer's premises for inspection operations or performs the remote technical assessment of existing inspection data. Inspectable features include structural defects such as dents, scratches and visible corrosion indications, paint defects, lightning strike marks, markings as well as post-paint checks and insurance-related analyses. In addition, the company offers aircraft maintenance with a focus on structural and cell repair in accordance with approved technical data, as well as AOG emergency service and feasibility assessments of individual inspection scenarios. Customers are airlines, CAMO organizations, maintenance centres, owners and insurers; the services can be used indoors and – subject to regulatory approval – outdoors.
