DRS Electronics GmbH was founded in Germany in 2012 to enter the metal detection market with a new technological approach. The company offers devices that use technologies from military and industrial fields, including gradiometers, resistivity measurement, ground camera radars, and VLF and pulse induction detectors. The product range includes the tablet-controlled pulse induction detector Ground Exper (PRO and LIGHT) with detection depths of up to 5 meters, the Stealth Scanner with eight sensors integrated in a jacket for depths of up to 12 meters, the Proradar X1 to X5 radar series, the Advanced Resistivity Scanner (ARS), as well as the hobby detectors FX3000 and FX II. For evaluating scan results, the company provides its own 3D software. The products are available in nine languages and are distributed through a worldwide dealer network; the company is headquartered in Cologne.
