About DSD NOELL

DSD NOELL GmbH, based in Würzburg, specializes in hydromechanical steel hydraulic equipment and is part of DSD Steel Group GmbH. Its range of services covers basic and detailed design including structural analysis, as well as manufacturing, installation and commissioning of equipment for navigation locks, barrages and dams, hydropower plants, movable bridges and ferry linkspans. The product portfolio includes gates and valves, drive systems, electrical control systems, pressure penstocks and bifurcations (penstocks & bifurcations), trash racks and movable bridges. Production is predominantly in structural steel; the company is certified to EN 1090-2 up to execution class EXC4 and holds qualified welding procedures for material groups 1.1, 1.2, 8.1 and 10.1 according to CEN ISO/TR 15608. The company's own engineers design steel structures as well as drive technology and associated electrical control systems to customer-specific requirements. Projects are executed in Germany, Europe and worldwide. In addition to its headquarters in Würzburg, the company maintains a representative office in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Quality and Certificates

A quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 was introduced in August 2000 for activities in steel hydraulic engineering and is continuously developed further. In addition, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) as well as welding certificates according to EN 1090-2 (EXC4) and EN ISO 3834-2 are documented.
