About us
DSI Laser GmbH, headquartered in Thun with a workshop in Reutigen (Hani), specialises in laser deposition welding of metallic materials. Its range of services includes laser welding, repair welding and aluminium welding as well as repairs of aluminium and grey cast iron parts, complemented by services in mould making as well as consulting and sales of welding equipment. According to the company, laser welding technology is suitable for almost all common metals and alloys, including materials that are difficult or impossible to weld using arc welding processes. Since work is carried out point by point, heat input into the component is low, allowing virtually distortion-free execution; laser-welded joints form a homogeneous structure and are mechanically more durable than soldered joints. Customers come from tool and mould making, sheet metal processing, electronics and medical technology. The GmbH was entered in the commercial register on 22.05.2006 and is managed by Eduard Jeremias and Theres Jeremias-Geiser.
