Diamond Tools Präzisionswerkzeuge Kleiner (DTP Kleiner GmbH & Co. KG) is a manufacturer of custom diamond and CBN tools based in Elmshorn, Schleswig-Holstein. Founded in 1998, the company develops and produces drills, milling cutters, blades, grinding tools and special shapes, individually tailored to the customer's machining process – from design support and prototyping to small series. The core of production is electroplated coating with synthetic diamond or cubic boron nitride (CBN), carried out entirely in-house: multi-layer coatings for long tool life as well as single-layer coatings with defined grain protrusion. In addition, polycrystalline superhard materials (PCD, PCBN) are processed by sintering superhard powder in the micrometer range under high pressure into dimensionally accurate cutting edges. The tools are used, among other things, in carbon and glass fiber processing, in steel and cast machining, in glass and ceramic processing, and in the food industry. Resharpening, recoating and readjusting of tools are also part of the service offering. The company operates according to ISO 9001 and uses fully renewable energy.
