The Company

DTS Systemoberflächen GmbH is the manufacturer of the ELESGO product brand and develops and produces decorative, functionalized surfaces based on electron beam curing (EBC technology). Impregnating, primer and top coatings are applied to transparent-coated decor papers or pigmented papers and crosslinked by electron beam; microstructures ranging from supermatt to high gloss and anti-fingerprint are transferred via release films. The finished surfaces are applied to a wide variety of substrate materials or further processed into HPL and CPL laminates. Applications are found in furniture, laminate and exterior flooring, doors and door frames, window sills, worktops and laboratory furniture, exterior facades as well as the finishing of aluminium and solar modules. Production in Möckern is emission-free, without solvents and formaldehyde, with an annual capacity of around 9 million m² of ELESGO surfaces for more than 90 customers in over 25 countries. The administration is located in Wesel, where a 7,000 m² extension was completed in 2022.

Materials and Processes

EBH

Electron beam curing (EBC)

Crosslinking of coating systems by electron beam without solvents and formaldehyde; imparts scratch-resistant, durable and emission-free properties.

DP

Transparent-coated decor papers

Together with pigmented papers, they determine the appearance of the surface.

PP

Pigmented papers

Basis for plain-coloured and structured surface variants.

HF

ELESGO one&only resin film

Transparent film made of 100 % resins (formaldehyde- and solvent-free) for finishing decors, aluminium or solar modules.

Al

Aluminium

Substrate and module material for finishing with ELESGO one&only.

REL

Release papers and structuring agents

Reusable multiple times in presses as an alternative to press plates for fast structure changes.

REC

Recycled materials

Use of recyclates in production wherever possible.
