About us
Since its founding in 1977, Dubroplast AG has produced highly precise plastic parts, originally with a focus on the electrical industry. At its site in Malters (Lucerne), thermoplastics and thermosets are processed by injection moulding. Thermosets are particularly suitable for heat-resistant, dimensionally stable, chemical-resistant and electrically insulating products; thermoplastics impress with durability, low weight and recyclability. With the takeover in 2015, the company was realigned: the management team led by Erick Krummenacher added prototype development and product design in injection moulding and deep drawing to the injection moulding process. Since then, activities have expanded into industries such as furniture manufacturing, household appliances as well as food and product packaging. The range of services includes product design, CAD engineering, material consulting, cost analysis and toolmaking via a long-standing partner – from prototype to series production.

Materials & Processes
Thermoplastics
Recyclable plastics processed by injection moulding with high chemical and mechanical resistance.
Thermosets
Cross-linked plastics that cannot be deformed after curing, used for heat- and chemical-resistant as well as electrically insulating parts.
Polyesters
Thermoset material for dimensionally stable and mechanically highly stressed applications.
Epoxy resins
Thermoset for electrically insulating and chemically resistant products.
Formaldehyde resins
Thermoset material for heat-resistant applications.
Polyurethanes
Thermoset with high mechanical stress resistance and moisture repellence.
Deep drawing
Process for producing parts that complement the product range alongside injection moulding.
