Company
Since 1980, Düring Schweißtechnik GmbH has been developing, manufacturing and assembling handheld welding guns, robot welding guns and special welding systems for resistance spot welding at its headquarters in Königsbrunn near Augsburg. The product portfolio comprises, in addition to the standard range of handheld welding guns, customer-specific robot welding guns such as the DWR 4.5, the ready-to-use robot welding cell, the laser welding gun Rayflex Alpha developed jointly with Trumpf, micro welding systems, projection welding machines, roller seam welding guns and test stands for welding technology. With a high level of vertical integration, gun components are manufactured in-house on the company's own CNC machines; only certified high-strength materials from regional long-term suppliers are used. The customer base consists largely of leading OEM manufacturers in the automotive industry and Tier-1 system suppliers. The company employs around 160 staff, generates revenue of €36 million and produces approximately 4,000 welding guns per year. As of 17.08.2026, Düring will become part of CenterLine Germany GmbH.
