About DuMont Systems

DuMont Systems GmbH & Co. KG was founded in January 2011 and consolidates the four IT divisions of the Mediengruppe M. DuMont Schauberg. The company, based in Hamburg (Griegstraße 75), is responsible for the group's IT operations and networks and harmonizes the IT structures at the Berlin, Halle, Hamburg and Cologne sites. Key priorities are the realignment and further development of the IT landscape in the course of digitalization, the provision of IT solutions for internal and external customers, and highly available server and virtualization environments (VMware, Citrix XenApp, Hyper-V). Around 100 employees ensure smooth operation; the parent company DuMont Mediengruppe employs around 2,000 people in eight countries. The company is not a manufacturing operation in the industrial sense.
