About duotec

duotec Sondermaschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1991 in Laggenbeck and is today a partner for precision parts, welded assemblies and complete machinery solutions for mechanical and plant engineering. Having evolved from classic contract manufacturing, the company has developed into a provider with a high degree of in-house production depth: design, machining, welding technology, assembly and surface treatment are all carried out in-house. The machine fleet includes CNC lathes with up to 2000 mm distance between centres, milling machines with up to 6000 mm X-axis including 5-axis machining, surface grinding, drilling technology, saws, a hydraulic press with 100 tonnes of pressing force, and keyway broaching according to DIN 6885. In the 600 m² assembly hall with crane systems up to 10 tonnes, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems are assembled; a paint booth measuring 7 × 9 × 4 m enables wet painting of large-dimension components. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, ranging from individual parts through prototypes and small series to complete machines. The location is Fuggerstraße 25 in Ibbenbüren-Laggenbeck, North Rhine-Westphalia.

Materials & Processes

St

Steel

Main material for welded constructions, assemblies and machined precision parts, e.g. 10 t welded assemblies with subsequent CNC machining.

VA

Stainless steel

Processed in the welding shop, among other things for weather-resistant constructions such as the mobile LED screen.

Al

Aluminium

Used in the welding area and for lightweight, mobile constructions such as transport and screen systems.

NL

Wet painting

Surface finishing in a 7 × 9 × 4 m paint booth for individual parts and complete assemblies.

SG

Stress-relief annealing

Heat treatment of welded assemblies to reduce stresses prior to subsequent machining.
