duotherm Stark Isoliersysteme GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures at its Mechernich-Satzvey site (North Rhine-Westphalia) high-temperature-resistant insulation systems (duoBase) for applications up to 1800 °C as well as electric heaters made of heat-resistant metallic materials with ohmic resistance behavior (duoCalor). The manufacturing portfolio also includes ceramic components and functional ceramics (duoCast), including ceramic filters, refractory lightweight bricks, insulating bricks, fiber insulating and fiber sealing cords as well as textile insulation moldings and insulation mats. In addition, manufacturing techniques such as waterjet cutting (duoPlus), 3D design (Solid Edge, STEP, IGES, STL, DWG/DXF), as well as assembly and repairs in the company's own production halls or on site are offered. The four service areas are combined individually, enabling high vertical integration and one-stop solutions. Customer industries include furnace and plant engineering, metallurgy/foundry industry, ceramic and glass industry, chemical industry, as well as the aerospace, automotive and household appliance industries. The company was founded in 1993 and has been in liquidation since 19.10.2020.
