About us
DURA Baustoffe GmbH & Co. KG is an official sales partner for SikaCrete® Silent-90, a certified insulating and levelling fill based on recycled polystyrene and the binder Sika® Compound-50. The product serves as impact sound and thermal insulation as well as for levelling and cavity filling, and is applied directly onto the concrete ceiling, enclosing service lines. Installation is carried out using standard mixing and conveying equipment, in particular a 200-l screed pump, at layer thicknesses up to 300 mm and installation rates of 20–40 m³ per day with two installers. The system is used in residential and commercial construction, including floor, roof, basement and pool insulation as well as stud walls and timber ceilings. According to the company, more than one million m² have been installed over a period of ten years.
