About DUREL
DUREL GmbH, headquartered in Neitersen in the Westerwald region, develops and manufactures high-performance polymer springs made from thermoplastic polymer as well as buffer, damping and bearing systems for draft and coupler equipment. The products are manufactured using a worldwide patented production process that gives the springs their damping and stability properties, and are used primarily in rail vehicle technology as well as in general mechanical engineering and industrial applications. In addition to buffer springs, draft gear springs and coupler springs, the product range includes cellulose and rubber buffers, wheel buffers, gearbox buffers, Vulkollan® buffers, vibration buffers, damping elements, metal-rubber disks, universal mounts, pipe joint bells, hole covers and complete spring assemblies for heavy-duty couplers. DUREL supplies OEMs, component manufacturers and operators worldwide, and also offers custom spring systems in small quantities as well as overhaul, repair and retrofit of existing spring systems. Through a global sales network with partners in Europe, Asia and North and South America, the company operates internationally.
