Founded by Paul Brüggenthies as a letterpress printing shop; initially printing and die-cutting of margarine and ice-cup labels.
Expansion into a commercial jobbing printing shop for business and private printed matter; after the founder's death, taken over by Franz Hoffmann & Söhne KG / SONAX; specialisation in roll-fed self-adhesive labels.
