About Durot Electric

Durot Electric GmbH is a development service provider for electromobility and mechanical engineering based in Mörschwil in the canton of St. Gallen. Founded in 2017 by developers with many years of industry and project experience, the company supports manufacturers of vehicles and machinery as a contract developer and solution provider in entering and transitioning to electromobility. Its range of services includes the system development of electrical drive systems, software development with programming of Vehicle Control Units, electronics and mechanical development, the construction of road-worthy vehicle prototypes as well as vehicle validation up to preparation for series production. A dedicated Functional Safety (FuSi) department supports customers in implementing standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 13849 and IEC 61508. The offering is complemented by services such as Testing as a Service on HIL test benches, Digital Twins, battery upgrades and software libraries (DeLib). Reference projects include the electrification of municipal vehicles, commercial vehicles, work machines and robots, including the Schmidt eCleango 550 of the Aebi Schmidt Group.
