About Durrer Spezialmaschinen
Durrer Spezialmaschinen AG is a Swiss family-owned company based in Immensee that has been developing, designing and manufacturing special-purpose machines for highly individual tasks since 1949. Its range of services covers special machinery construction, automation, robotics and vacuum technology – from concept and prototype construction through to series production, assembly and commissioning, supplemented by maintenance, support and upgrades. For over 50 years the company has been active internationally in the graphic arts industry; today it is a leader in vacuum technology for the medical and baking industries, for example in vacuum cooling of baked goods and vacuum dryers for medical bone implants. Further customers come, among others, from aerospace, the watch and electronics industries, security printing, packaging and the TV/media sector. Manufacturing covers mechanical engineering and precision mechanics as well as machining, wiring work, welding under vacuum, and software development and digitalization. All developments are carried out entirely in-house.
