About Dustlight
Dustlight develops and distributes a real-time measuring device for monitoring fine dust (A-dust) in the workplace. The compact device measures dust exposure directly at the point of occurrence, displays it via a traffic light system (green-yellow-red) and warns acoustically and visually at critical values. The accompanying smartphone and web app converts second-by-second measurement data into metrics such as AGW (occupational exposure limit), KZW (short-term value) and AQI, supports STEL and TWA evaluations, displays the particle size distribution and event logging, and delivers reports for risk assessment as well as ESG reporting. With the September software update, Dustlight links real-time measurements with gravimetric reference values and the known quartz dust fraction; in addition, calibration to customer-specific materials is possible using custom correction factors. The devices are TÜV SÜD-certified to IEC 61010-1, can be used worldwide and are approved for the North American market through cTÜVus. Application areas include industry, crafts/trades, power plants and energy supply, plastics manufacturing, food production and the refractory industry.
