About Dymax
Dymax Corporation develops and manufactures rapid and light-curing materials, dispensing equipment and UV/LED light-curing systems. The family business, founded in 1980 as American Chemical and Engineering Company by Andy and Clai Bachmann, co-developed broadband light-curing adhesive technology and today offers single-component, mostly solvent-free UV/LED adhesives, conformal coatings, encapsulants, potting compounds, form-in-place gaskets, maskants and thermal interface adhesives that cure in 1–30 seconds. The materials bond plastics, glass and metals and are used in medical technology, electronics, automotive (including EV batteries), aerospace and consumer electronics. In addition, Dymax supplies spot, flood and conveyor curing systems, dispensing valves, reservoirs and radiometers including service, calibration and trade-in. Contract conformal coating is offered through partner Electronic Coating Technologies (ECT) in the Americas and Europe with 2,000–4,000 PCBs per day. The company employs over 550 staff at eight locations in North America, Europe and Asia; the European headquarters is Dymax Europe GmbH in Wiesbaden.
