About Dynaudio
Dynaudio A/S is a Danish loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 1977 that develops and manufactures high-end loudspeakers for home audio, professional studio technology, in-car audio and custom install applications. The company builds loudspeakers exclusively with in-house developed and manufactured drive units, including tweeters, midrange drivers and woofers of its own design. The product range includes compact and floor-standing loudspeakers (including Confidence, Contour, Evoke, Focus, Emit), active studio monitors (Dynaudio Professional, Dynaudio Acoustics) as well as car audio and in-wall/in-ceiling solutions. Dynaudio has acted as an OEM audio supplier for Volvo and Volkswagen and continues to supply the VW Touareg; further OEM customers include Bugatti (Puccini Sound System), BYD and MSI (gaming notebooks). More than ten thousand recording studios worldwide use Dynaudio loudspeakers; BBC Radio & Music uses them as reference monitors. In 2014 the company was acquired by the Chinese electronics group Goertek, and in 2015 it acquired the Danish audio company AM3D A/S.
