About Kumpan electric
e-bility GmbH was founded in 2010 by the brothers Patrik, Daniel and Philipp Tykesson in Remagen and sells its electric scooters under the Kumpan electric brand. The first-generation family business develops and produces its vehicles at its headquarters on Dieselstraße in Remagen – from design through technical development to assembly at the Remagen site. The portfolio includes fast electric scooters of the 54 series with speeds of up to 100 km/h, the 45 km/h scooter 1953, and the foldable electric kick scooter 1950 with an aluminium frame. The vehicles use brushless hub motors, removable lithium-ion batteries (power packs) and telemetry modules with app connectivity (KumpanConnect). In addition to direct sales to private customers via a dealer network, factory outlet and online shop, Kumpan electric delivers complete solutions for scooter-sharing providers and supplies scooter specifications for delivery services. According to the company's own statements, around 90 percent of vehicle parts come from Europe.
