About HAHNENKRATT
E. HAHNENKRATT GmbH was founded in 1932 by master mechanic Emil Hahnenkratt in Pforzheim and is today owned by the family in its fourth generation. At the headquarters in Königsbach-Stein (Baden-Württemberg), dental instruments are produced entirely in the company's own manufacturing facilities – from development and design through production to quality control. The portfolio includes mouth mirrors, micro mouth mirrors, laryngeal mirrors, photo mirrors, handles, probes, periodontometers, matrices, matrix holders as well as root post systems (EXATEC, CYTEC, CONTEC). Production uses standard-compliant stainless steel or medical steel in accordance with EN ISO 7492, titanium and technical plastics such as PEEK or glass-fibre-reinforced plastic. Surfaces are treated with, among other things, DLC coating and front surface mirroring. Through OEM/private-label production and its own in-house special machine building, the company supplies dentists and dental dealers in more than 120 countries worldwide.

Materials and Surface Treatments
Medical steel
For probe tips with high fracture strength and elasticity.
Stainless steel (standard-compliant)
Corrosion-resistant material for dental instruments with long service lives.
Titanium
For root posts of the EXATEC product line.
PEEK
For ERGOform handles with ergonomic diameter and low weight.
HT glass fibre / glass-fibre-reinforced plastic
For root posts (CYTEC/CONTEC) and handles of the RELAX mouth mirrors.
DLC coating (Diamond Like Carbon)
Deep black, matte surface of the BLACKline for low-reflection work.
Front surface mirroring (rhodium, TiCr)
Prevents double images and enables distortion-free viewing with up to 36 layer packages.
