About Kretzschmar Antriebstechnik

E. Kretzschmar GmbH, based in Kürten (Bechen), has been active as a specialist in drive technology since 1973. The company develops individual drive solutions and manufactures every motor from scratch in order to adapt motors structurally to the respective application. The portfolio includes DC and low-voltage DC motors in various excitation types, special motors such as underwater motors, water-cooled three-phase motors, motors for industrial furnaces and blowers with shaft temperatures of 750 to 1200 °C, deep vibrator drives up to approx. 250 kW as well as actuator drives for power plants. In addition, special gear motors, drum motors (25 to 180 watts, optionally in stainless steel design for the food industry) and drives for swimming pool covers are offered. The power range extends from 50 watts to 750 kW. Alongside manufacturing, the company offers plant conception, control cabinet construction, commissioning of complete systems and documented tests prior to delivery. As its German representative, Kretzschmar also distributes tachogenerators and pulse encoders from Radio Energie SA (since 1984), small motors from Bodine Electric Company (since 1991) and control devices from KB Electronics.
