About E-Lyte

E-Lyte Innovations GmbH was founded in May 2019 and develops and produces electrolyte solutions for electrical energy storage systems such as lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries and supercapacitors. The range of services includes electrolyte development, analytics, workshops and benchmarking studies as well as the development, validation and commercialization of electrolyte additives, among other things within the framework of Joint Development Agreements. E-Lyte sees itself as a holistic electrolyte partner and delivers tailored formulations for every cell chemistry, including high-performance electrolytes for LFP-based lithium-ion cells in energy storage systems (ESS). Within five years, the company evolved from a project into an internationally active provider. Cooperation partners include, among others, Fraunhofer FFB in Münster, with whom E-Lyte integrates electrolyte development with innovative cell manufacturing, and PCC Thorion GmbH, with whom the Scionb electrolyte additive platform is being further developed and commercialized. Production and delivery take place from the Münster and Kaiserslautern sites.
