Eichler und Meurers is a manufacturing company in Chemnitz with many years of experience in mechanical engineering. Its core business is the production of components for textile machinery, in particular yarn creels for warp knitting machines, weaving machines and warping machines as well as yarn testing stands for yarn-to-yarn abrasion tests. In addition, the company develops and manufactures custom special-purpose machines such as twisting units, winders and unwinders, wire feeding systems for the wire industry and manual bending machines (hand benders). In the field of parts manufacturing, contract work is carried out with CNC turning, 3- to 5-axis CNC milling, surface grinding, welding of steel and stainless steel (TIG, MIG/MAG), glass bead blasting, tumble finishing as well as orbital riveting and pressing. The manufacture and assembly of assemblies for special-purpose machines is performed in-house. Customers come primarily from the textile machinery industry and the wire industry as well as textile research.
