02.03.2016: Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new technology center (SEW) in the Erlen industrial park, Ravensburg.
- 2017
April 2017: E&M and cooperation partner W&A Technologie GmbH are the first to move into the SEW Technology Center.

Cooperation with Smart City Solutions GmbH (since 03/2018): establishment of LoRaWAN infrastructures, ATLAS platform; E&M acts as plant manufacturer for the IoT technology.
