E.P.P. Euro Press Pack S.p.A., based in Carasco (Genoa), Italy, develops and manufactures high-pressure hydraulic products for operating pressures from 700 to 4000 bar. The product range includes hydraulic cylinders (heavy-duty, low-profile, hollow-plunger and universal cylinders), foot, hand and hydropneumatic pumps, valves, pressure gauges, couplings, hoses, modular power units, special systems as well as hydraulic tools such as pullers, jacks, flange spreaders, nut splitters and torque wrenches. Cylinders are made of steel and light metal, with oil reservoirs and housings partly made of plastic; to increase hardness and corrosion resistance, the Nitreg® ONC® treatment (nitriding and oxidation, tested according to ASTM B117) is used. Production at the Carasco site uses Industry 4.0 equipment, welding robots and laser marking; small and large series are also manufactured to customer specifications. Customers are found in mining, tunnelling, shipbuilding, rail, aerospace, construction, energy and maintenance; reference projects include ITER, the Ponte di Genova San Giorgio and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Through subsidiaries in Germany (EUROPRESS Deutschland GmbH, Nuremberg) and Great Britain as well as representatives in 19 countries, the company supplies customers internationally; on the Amplifa platform, the German subsidiary acts as contact for the DACH region.
