About us

E. Soland GmbH from Brugg (canton of Aargau) manufactures metal lettering of all kinds as well as products for the commemoration of the deceased and grave culture. The range includes bronze lettering and ornaments, grave monuments such as crosses, ears of corn, flames and roses, aluminium house numbers with raised or recessed appearance, signs (street, door, company, memorial and information signs), facade lettering up to 60 cm, signposts, plaques, engravings and film lettering. The lettering is produced using traditional casting methods: sand casting, lost-wax casting (investment casting) and vacuum casting; the liquid bronze is heated in the crucible furnace to around 1250 degrees Celsius. After casting, the parts are chased, brushed, ground, patinated or painted with weather-resistant 2K paint; house number digits are milled out individually. The main materials are bronze, aluminium, copper and tin. The company supplies stonemason and sculptor businesses, cemetery and funeral services, municipalities, property management companies and building owners as well as private customers in single items or large orders, exclusively with Swiss products.
