About E-TERRY
E-TERRY GmbH is an agricultural robotics startup based in Erfurt that develops the autonomous field robot E-TERRY and builds and tests it in its own robotics lab. The E-TERRY is an open, system-compatible implement carrier – similar to a tractor – that can be adapted for various applications and autonomously removes weeds in the crop row with AI-supported precision. It is ultra-light, foldable and variable in height and track width, thus adapting to different plants and soils. The robot is marketed as Farming-as-a-Service: farmers book the weed removal service with no upfront costs, an on-site service provider deploys and maintains the robot. Target industries are vegetable cultivation, horticulture and agriculture; the company's mission is the digitalization and automation of the entire crop cultivation cycle from sowing to harvest. The office is located in Kontor Erfurt, a hub for innovation and creativity.
