About E. WINKEMANN
Since 1938, E. WINKEMANN GmbH has manufactured precise stamped, pressed and deep-drawn metal parts and is today, with around 350 employees and revenue of approximately €90 million, a significant manufacturer of precision stamped parts. The components are installed predominantly in automotive powertrain applications, including transmissions, axle drives, engine technology and chassis, as well as serving as a development and series production supplier in e-mobility. The entire value chain—from 3D design on modern CAD/CAM systems, through in-house toolmaking, to production on networked production systems, component assembly and logistics—is located at the headquarters in Plettenberg with a production area of more than 21,000 m². The machines and lines are connected to an MES, making machine status and performance development available in real time. For the Chinese market, the subsidiary E. WINKEMANN Automotive (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. was founded in 2019 as a development partner and series production supplier.
