EAB Reinhausen GmbH manufactures industrial metal detectors that detect metallic foreign objects in production processes, thereby protecting production machinery and plants from damage and preventing impurities in the product. The company was founded in 1978 as Elektroanlagenbau Reinhausen through the cooperation of Gerhard Cassel and Jürgen Zimmermann. In May 2018, managing development engineer Viktor Gerber took over the company, which has since been owner-managed as EAB Reinhausen GmbH. In addition to manufacturing the devices, the company also offers customer support.
