About earlybeck
earlybeck is a Swiss family business in the bakery, patisserie and confectionery sector, established in 1910 and today run by Eric and Murielle Oehrli-Chevalley in the fourth generation. The company operates bakery-confectioneries with tea rooms and take-away in Gstaad and Saanen as well as in the Pays-d'Enhaut in Riaz and Enney, serving its customers all year round, 365 days a year. The range includes character breads made with sourdough, with three of its own sourdoughs – wheat, Pur Ember (grape variety: Pur Epeautre) and wild rye – maintained daily; four breads are pure sourdough breads. The doughs rest for between 7 and 48 hours; exclusively raw, natural ingredients free of additives are used, and the flours are IP-Suisse or organic certified. In addition, pâtisserie and chocolate specialities are produced – the cocoa comes from sustainable, fair cultivation on the island of Grenada – along with fresh snacks, sandwiches and homemade jarred products. A traiteur apéro service rounds off the offering; deliveries are made in the Gstaad/Saanenland, Pays-d'Enhaut and Gruyère regions.
