About the ZIMMERMANN Group
The ZIMMERMANN Group is a family-owned corporate group in the recycling and waste management industry, based in Gütersloh since 1962. It treats, recovers and disposes of hazardous and non-hazardous special waste from industrial processes – liquid, solid, pasty, mineral, combustible or non-combustible. The service portfolio includes chemical-physical treatment, solids conditioning, distillation and toll distillation of solvents, permitted interim storage, material flow management, accredited environmental analysis as well as dangerous goods and waste transports with its own ADR fleet. At several sites in Germany, certified waste management companies operate treatment plants and interim storage facilities whose use depends on waste properties, permits and technical requirements. Wherever material properties and approved processes allow, constituents are processed for further use; non-recoverable fractions are routed to a permitted disposal path. All services are provided within the framework of the applicable permits, in particular the Circular Economy Act.
