Ebmeyer Werkzeugbau GmbH, based in Gütersloh, has been designing and manufacturing dies for sheet metal forming since 1971, in particular for outer-skin and structural parts of the automotive and washing machine industries. Its range of services includes method planning and simulation using the AutoForm system, design in CATIA and NX, CNC milling technology, wire and sinker EDM, grinding technology as well as assembly and try-out on hydraulic presses up to 20,000 kN. Steels such as DC06, DX54/DX56, HC260 or S420MC as well as aluminium alloys such as EN AW-5182 and EN AW-5754 are processed, with sheet thicknesses from 0.7 to 12 mm. Around 3,300 m² of production and office space at the Berensweg 185 site accommodate 68 employees; through the cooperation partner VT Industrial Technology in WuXi (China), additional proximity to the Asian market is provided. Services include maintenance, repair and commissioning of dies, including third-party products. The company is certified to DIN ISO 9001:2015 and cooperates with universities in R&D projects on sheet metal forming and joining technology.
