ebu GmbH in Bayreuth develops and manufactures press automation lines, presses and C-frame presses for sheet metal and forming technology, complemented by a comprehensive range of automation and feeding technology: uncoilers, straighteners, servo feeds, loop bridges, tool change systems as well as good-part and scrap management. The portfolio includes the best-of ebu SELECT series (rated capacities from 400 to 8,000 kN, built as monobloc welded steel construction or split cast construction) as well as custom forming systems up to 12,500 kN under ebu CUSTOMIZED. Modular drive technology with the patented ebu servo drive, retrofit of existing and third-party systems, and services such as remote maintenance and spare parts service complete the offering; since 2025 the energy storage solutions business field (ebu ENERGY) has been added. Customers are primarily parts manufacturers and automotive suppliers in sheet metal working. The company traces back to a mechanical workshop founded in Bayreuth in 1861; since 2016, Jiangsu Xuzhou Metalforming Machine Group (XUDUAN) has been a shareholder.
