About ECAD GmbH
ECAD Electronic Components and Devices GmbH was founded in 2011 in Obernzell and is a partner for sustainable power electronics. The company develops, produces and distributes custom wound components and modules such as power transformers, filter chokes, storage chokes, boost converters and inductor modules. In addition, ECAD has been manufacturing cable assemblies since 2011 – from flat, round and coaxial cables to UL-certified wires and shielded cables to custom special cables. In the telecommunications sector, the company offers fiber optic demarcation points, building distribution boxes, splitters, patch cords and pre-assembled solutions. As the exclusive European sales representative of POCO Magnetic and partner of YNTECH, ECAD also distributes low-loss iron powder cores, ferrite cores as well as amorphous and nanocrystalline cores. Customers come from telecommunications, power electronics, medical technology, the automotive industry, renewable energies and data centers. In addition to its headquarters in Obernzell, ECAD maintains a branch in Ahrensburg and ECAD AT GmbH in Neufelden, Austria.

Quality
ECAD pursues a zero-defect strategy and works closely with customers and suppliers to achieve it. Suppliers must have a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 or IATF 16949; the company itself was certified to ISO 9001:2008 by DEKRA in 2013.
